The infamous peace sign has recently turned 50 years old! (as have some people I know.. hehehe) It was orginally
designed as a "no-nukes" protest symbol in England in the late 1950's and adopted in the early 60's during the civil rights
movement in southern USA which led to the transformation of the symbol to represent peace by protesters against the war in
Viet Nam and just kind of became THE sign for peace everywhere.
These particular embroidery designs were inspired by Mother Bobbi who wrote to me asking for some cool peace signs that
she could sew for her grand kids.
So here they are MB, a peace offering for all to share!
